A still from a TV costume drama? No, and it's not Doc Holliday either.
The cheerful-looking chap in the photograph is, in fact, "gamekeeper Sutcliffe" and the scene is the Towneley Estate.
But what we don't know is when the picture was taken and what Mr. Sutcliffe's first name was.
The staff at Towneley Hall's museum would appreciate your help in finding out as they are currently preparing a display on the servants who worked on the estate when the Towneley family was still in residence, and would like to make it complete.
